Conglomerate

 

A sedimentary deposit of pebbly or quartz fragments that have been compressed and bonded together with a mixture of finer material. 

 

A good example is the Witwatersrand stile paleoplacer deposite. 

 

The Klondike area may have been completely covered by conglomerate.
