Crusher / Crushing

 

 

 

Once ore is removed from the ground, it is transported to a crusher.

 

The role of the crusher is to reduce the size of the rocks to a manageable size for grinding in the ball mills or rod mills. 

 

A crusher could be a gyratory crusher, industrial pestle and mortar or a jaw type of machine.
