A 'Contrarian' takes an opposite view, or stance, to the prevailing wisdom - or 'crowd psyche'.

In a financial sense, Contrarians tend to have a 'bearish' outlook on certain 'paper' investment markets and fiat money (not backed by reserves of any commodity ie. gold or silver).  Others are pessimistic about the handling of the economy in general, sometimes citing mismanagement or manipulation by governments and central banks.  Contrarians strive to expose what they believe to be the facts.  It is up to the reader to decide whether they agree or disagree with the views and opinions expressed.  However, anyone accessing this website must obviously have contrarian views to some degree as you look to precious metals as a tangible and safe store of wealth.
